The landscape beauties, the mild climate and
the urban structure characterized by porches,
are only a few particularities which this
town enjoys.
Near the lake you can find the parochial church
of San Lorenzo, with its facade with yellow and
orange bands, and Villa Carlotta: this is one
of the target, more visited of the lake of Como; property of the State.
This building, situated on the top of an Italian garden, is encircled by an immense and rich English park, full of exotic essences.
Inside of the villa, famous also for its elegant architecture, you can admire art works of
famous teachers as Appiani, Hayez, London
and Thorvaldsen.
